Instructions to make Crusty bread:
- Mix maida, Dahi, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, salt in a bowl. Add water as required to knead a dough.
- Apply oil on palms and keep exercising or kneading the dough for 10 mins. Keep it aside for about 30 minutes.
- After that, again knead it well for 5 minutes and shape it into an oval-round shape loaf. Top it with sesame.(optional)
- Grease your baking tray or mould. I used a tray here. Keep that loaf on it. Let it rest another 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
- After 30 minutes, bake it to mentioned temperature for 40 minutes.
- You can keep checking in between. Keep brushing in between with butter.
- Once it is perfect brown, take it out. Brush with butter and cover it with a wet cloth for 2 mins. It gives a nice texture.
- Remove cloth,Let it cool! You're good to go!!
