- Grease the baking pan and dust it with flour and then line it with parchment paper and set aside. Prepare the dry ingredients by sifting the flour mixed with baking powder, baking soda and salt and keep aside.

Once ready, let the cake sit in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring it on to a cooling rack.
